How to Choose a Kundan Necklace Set
Posted by CUNEI INDIA

Kundan necklace sets in this price band are gold-plated sets with coloured stones and a matching pair of earrings. The useful question is not “which is the most traditional.” It is which shape still looks like itself once the dupatta, the blouse neck and the camera flash are in the frame.
Use the five new sets below as a shortlist. Prices are ₹2,699 to ₹3,799. All of them are on the necklace and earrings collection.
Match the set to the ceremony, not to a trend name
- Mehendi, outdoors, photos in daylight. Victorian Polki Stones Necklace Set — clear teardrops, matching studs, no maang tikka. It stays readable in sun and does not fight mehendi on the forehead.
- Sangeet or a reception with hair up. Emerald Green Three Piece Necklace Set — emerald green stones, earrings and a maang tikka. The third piece only earns its place if the hairline is visible.
- A silk saree in ivory, black or maroon. Heritage Green Red Stones Necklace Set — mint-green and ruby stones in a collar, with jhumka drops and a tikka. The green is soft, so it does not turn neon under warm light.
- Printed lehenga or a multicolour blouse. Multicolour Kundan Stones Necklace Set — multicolour kundan rounds and one clear pendant. One pendant gives the eye a place to land.
- A plain blouse and you want the jewellery to be the outfit. Royal Multicolor Aarna Kundan Necklace Set — a multicolour teardrop bib with matching earrings.
What to check before you order
Look at three things on the product page, not the adjective in the title. First, whether a maang tikka is actually in the set: only the emerald three-piece and the heritage green-and-ruby collar include one. Second, the drop of the necklace: a collar sits on the collarbone, a bib covers the upper chest. Third, the earring shape. Jhumkas (the heritage set) need a lobe that can hold a drop; studs (the Victorian polki set) sit flatter under a dupatta.
For gifting, the three sets under ₹3,000 — the multicolour kundan, the emerald three-piece and the Victorian polki — are also in gifts under ₹3,000. The heritage collar and the Aarna bib sit above that line and belong with the Navratri edit and wedding-guest jewellery.
