The guest’s problem is the same in each city: the outfit is sorted, the jewellery is a pair of studs from a local shop, and the photographs look unfinished.

One set per function, not a new necklace every night

In Europe the wedding is usually a hotel booking, not a week of neighbourhood functions with a jeweller downstairs. Pack three looks and stop.

• Mehendi or a daytime puja. A lighter set: mint, yellow, or pearl. Hair tied back if you wear the maang tikka.
• Sangeet. The coloured set that matches the outfit. Emerald, pink, or multi-colour. This is the photograph.
• Wedding or reception. Either the same set, or the clear crystal set if the clothes are ivory, silver, or a gown. Do not add a second necklace on top.

Diwali, Navratri, and Karva Chauth use the same rule. One complete set beats a drawer of single earrings that do not match. The wrist, if you want it, is one heritage bracelet-watch, not a stack of thin bangles over the clasp.

Prices on the site are in Indian rupees. Pay by card. Cash on delivery is only for addresses in India. Parcels leave Mumbai and usually take 10–14 days after dispatch. The country you live in can charge import duty or tax when the parcel arrives. That bill is set locally and paid by the person who receives it. These are plated fashion sets with artificial stones, not hallmarked gold or diamond polki. Keep them off perfume and water.

Yes, as international prepaid orders. Plan on about 10–14 days after dispatch, and on possible import VAT when the parcel is delivered.

What should a guest wear to a European Indian wedding?

Can I wear this to Diwali in Zurich or Dublin?
