Indian wedding and Diwali jewellery for women across the UK

Indian weddings in the UK are not only in London. The same week happens in Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Belfast: a mehendi, a sangeet, a ceremony, a reception, then Diwali or Navratri in the same season. High-street shops in those cities sell odd earrings. They rarely sell a necklace, the matching earrings, and a maang tikka as one set at a known price.

One set per function, not a new necklace every night

In the UK the wedding is usually a hotel booking, not a week of neighbourhood functions with a jeweller downstairs. Pack three looks and stop.

• Mehendi or a daytime puja. A lighter set: mint, yellow, or pearl. Hair tied back if you wear the maang tikka.
• Sangeet. The coloured set that matches the outfit. Emerald, pink, or multi-colour. This is the photograph.
• Wedding or reception. Either the same set, or the clear crystal set if the clothes are ivory, silver, or a gown. Do not add a second necklace on top.

Prices on the site are in Indian rupees. Pay by card. Cash on delivery is only for addresses in India. Parcels leave Mumbai and usually take 10–14 days after dispatch. The country you live in can charge import duty or tax when the parcel arrives. That bill is set locally and paid by the person who receives it. Questions

Will a set reach Birmingham or Glasgow in time?

Allow 10–14 days after the parcel leaves Mumbai, plus a few days if customs holds it. Order at least three weeks before the mehendi.

Is this suitable for a UK civil ceremony and an evening reception?

Yes. Wear the clearer crystal set with a light outfit in the day, and a coloured kundan-style set at the reception. You do not need both necklaces at once.

Do prices include UK VAT?

The site shows Indian rupees. Your card converts the charge. UK import VAT or duty, if due, is collected separately on arrival.
