Jewellery for a lehenga: one necklace set, then the wrist

A lehenga already has embroidery. The jewellery mistake is adding a necklace, a second pair of earrings, a stacked wrist and a maang tikka that fights the dupatta. The order that works: one necklace set that includes its own earrings, then one wrist. If the set has a maang tikka, wear it only when the hair is tied back and the dupatta is not covering the parting.

A heritage bracelet-watch is the wrist piece when you want the jewellery and the time in one object. A kada is the wrist piece when you already decided against a watch. Do not put five thin bracelets over the watch. The watch is the stack.

Should lehenga jewellery match the lehenga colour?
Repeat one colour from the lehenga in the stones. An emerald set on an emerald lehenga reads cleaner than a random multi-colour set on a printed skirt.
Do I still need separate earrings?
Not if you buy a necklace set. The earrings in the photo are the pair. A second pair only replaces them; it does not sit beside them.
Watch or bangles?
